Wow! After the whole year we have arrived. It's testing week! Also, we now have third recess. And snacks! Don't forget the snacks.
Wow! I can't believe that we are almost done with the school year! It feels like we were in Sixth Grade but a day. In Math, we talked about ratios and proportions. In History, we began learning about Ancient Greece. Three cheers for Rick Riordan! In Writing, we wrote persuasive letters to Mr. Roberson and Mrs. Shahabi. We continued to learn new words in vocab, and we learned about overcoming temptation in bible. See you guys soon!
Another fun week, we wrapped up the third quarter. I can't believe we are in the 4th Quarter! This Friday was the first day off. In Bible, we wrapped up our Jesus focus. In writing, we wrote a R.A.F.T. In Science, we wrapped up our unit wih Diet Coke and Mento volcano! In Math, we learned about rates and proportions. We had so much fun, ending this week with a half day. In math,we learned about properties of two-dimensional figures. In writing, we continued our speeches and wrote an essay about one another. In science, we built earthqake safe houses and will test them on Monday. In bible, we focused on Jesus. In Vocab, we began a review. What a week! We finally endeavored to do our experiments. And not just on any day; it was Dr. Suess Day, and that means pajama day! Many new photos were added to the"Photos" tab, and we had a lot of fun doing them. In writing, we began to learn our speeches for the speech meet. In Math, we leared about intergers. In Bible, we learned some more about the sin of coveteousness. We are still reading the exciting Bronze Bow. The riddle is What is the difference between a jeweler and a jailer? We started this week with a day off with one day off, and ended with half a day off due to Great American's Day. We read an interesting yet cliffhanging story in Writing, and had a debate about it. We continued to read the Bronze Bow.In Bible, we learned about Ahab and his coveteousness. In math, we learned about integers. The riddle is Until I am measured, I am not know. In writing, we wrote an application of the bible verse to our lives. In science, we continue to work on our science projects. This week we wrote our research essay.
