It vacation! Hop around, scream with glee! Enjoy your thanksgiving!

We did many of our usual activities, but Monday was off. This week, we had the sports assembly.  I want to congratulate all of you football players who lead our team to winning the championships this year. I don't know if you guys are the same, but this whole week I was itching for vacation. And then it came! Riddle for the week is:
You are looking at an island in the middle of a lake in a secluded country. Everyday, a tractor drives around the island. Puzzled upon how the tractor got there, you ask the owner. You learn that it was not brought in by sea or air, and it wasn't made on the island. How did it get there?

We had a 3 1/2 day week, filled with learning. We studied about the culture and government of ancient Mesopotania. Westudied Matthew 5: 13-14, and had lots of fun. We kicked of the 4 1/2 day weekend with the walkathon! We helped raise money to buy a new computer lab. I hope we did it! The riddle for the week is: I live all alone in a small house. It has no windows and no doors. What am I and what is my house

This was definitely one of the best weeks ever! We had Tuesday as a half day and Wednesday off.  It was like a mini weekend in the week! We read some more Maniac Magee, and then launched history! We had 15 objects and 15 people, but we had to choose 7 of each to learn what is most important in a civilisation. If anyone is reading this, tell me "purple bubbles" to get a raffle ticket.

It is Thursday morning, and I want to give a short exclusive on Light The Night. There were so many booths, all filled with enjoyable activities and free candy.  There were obstacle courses and activities such as the bungee run and the surfboard balancing stimulator. The Cake Walk had delicious cakes and so many were given away. Two high class bands were playing and I'm sure everyone was enjoying themselves.

First of all, I want to say that anyone who did not like Outdoor Ed should go it in a corner and rethink their opinion. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!  We had so many fun activities, including the night hike, archery, the rock wall, and much more.  The meals were awesome too. Some people might not like the fact that they did not serve soda, but I think it worked out great.  The cabin names we made up were so much fun too! The Spartans (Hoo, Hoo, Hoo), the Wind Breakers (What's that smell?!), the Tree Huggers (Lets get sappy!) and the Malt Shakers. Who cannot like that!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?  I'm sure we were all happy to see our family, and if your family is like mine, you were smothered for details the next few days.
